The Client

Go.Compare is one of the UK’s largest comparison websites, helping consumers to compare the costs and features of a broad range of insurance policies. It also allows users to compare financial products and other services like broadband, mobile and energy tariffs.

Founded in 2006, it was the first comparison site that put a focus on policy details rather than just prices, helping consumers find insurance that was the best fit for their needs, instead of just going for the lowest cost. Its services are free to use and as it doesn’t accept advertising or sponsored listings, all its product comparisons are unbiased.

The Work

As one of the UK’s most recognised financial brands, Go.Compare needs a constant stream of authoritative, newsworthy content to maintain visibility, build trust with consumers and support its wider marketing and SEO objectives. Operating in a highly competitive sector also means reacting quickly to breaking news, seasonal trends and changing consumer behaviours.

Since 2020, Front Door has acted as an extension of the Go.Compare team, delivering strategic PR support across proactive campaigns, reactive media relations and press office activity. Using consumer research, proprietary data and market insights, we create data-led stories that generate national coverage, strengthen brand authority and support organic search performance.

Alongside delivering almost 700 proactive PR campaigns, we manage day-to-day media enquiries, respond to breaking news through newsjacking opportunities, secure broadcast coverage and provide expert commentary on issues affecting UK consumers. We also support wider content and SEO activity, helping to ensure Go.Compare’s insights reach audiences through multiple channels.

We also manage the press office for Go.Compare responding to more than 1,000 media requests, helping to keep Go.Compare at the forefront of consumer and financial conversations across the UK.
