Bouygues UK
Providing the construction firm with PR and comms support for the Wales and South West region.
The Client
Bouygues UK is one of the leading construction companies in the United Kingdom. It focuses on sectors where it can add value through the technical expertise, skills and experience of Bouygues UK and the wider global Bouygues Group. These include residential (social housing, the private rented sector, private for sale homes, mixed-use, care homes and student accommodation); and education (ranging from nursery schools through to higher education) as well as technically complex projects across sectors where the company’s expertise can be maximised.
Bouygues UK provides intelligent management throughout the entire life-cycle of each project, delivering efficiently and to an excellent standard. It combines a local focus with international strength and expertise: the company is wholly owned by Bouygues Construction, a global player in construction and services.
Our Work
We support Bouygues UK with their PR and comms for the region, which currently includes:
Pentre Awel
The prestigious and innovative, multi-million-pound development which is being delivered by Carmarthenshire County that will bring together life science and business innovation, community healthcare and modern leisure facilities at the 83-acre Delta Lakes site on the Llanelli coastline. It aims to create around 1,800 jobs over 15 years and boost the local economy by more than £450m. It is part-funded by the Swansea Bay City Deal (£40million) and is the largest regeneration scheme in south west Wales.
71/72 Kingsway
Swansea Council is developing the project and it is being built by Bouygues UK. It is part-funded by the £1.3 billion Swansea Bay City Deal and supported by the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government. The scheme, earmarked for completion in early 2024, will include 114,000 square feet of commercial floor space with flexible co-working and office opportunities for businesses in sectors like tech, digital and the creative industries. Other features of the new development include a roof terrace, a new link between The Kingsway and Oxford Street, and balconies overlooking the city centre and Swansea Bay.
Front Door also worked on comms for Cardiff University’s Sparc/Spark £60m building which will house the world’s first social science research park and centre is the largest innovation facility of its kind in Wales, featuring 12,000m sq of floor space across six storeys, with commercial units and lab spaces for spinouts and start-ups.
