Lottoland

Front Door provides national consumer PR campaigns for Lottoland, the world leader in online lotto and casino games.

The Client

Lottoland has grown rapidly to become a world leader in online lotto. Innovation, coupled with the freedom to offer players a unique and enhanced lottery experience, has been key to the company’s success. In June 2018, Lottoland paid out €90 million to one lucky winner in Germany - this win has been confirmed by Guinness World Records as the largest online gambling payout.

The Gibraltar-based business is active in 15 markets, has over 400 employees, and has more than 18 million customers worldwide. With a choice of over 30 jackpots from around the world, there’s a lottery for everyone at Lottoland.

The Work

Front Door Comms has been the retained PR agency for Lottoland, the online lotto betting operator, since 2018. Over the past five years, we have been working with Lottoland on their consumer PR campaigns for the national and regional press, alongside crisis comms management and business announcements for the gambling trade and sector press.

Through consumer focused PR that highlights key product launches and jackpots for the brand, Front Door has orchestrated campaigns for the national media that have garnered over 400 pieces of coverage annually and served to secure column inches for a sector that is notoriously difficult to secure media attention.

Kind Words

After meeting the Front Door Communications team and getting to know their honest, no nonsense brand of PR, we knew it would be a good fit for Lottoland.

We often aim for brand messaging that is tongue in cheek, informative and gets the whole nation talking without toeing the line too far, and Front Door has been brilliant in helping us maintain that balance, all the while inspiring more content.
