Ding Dong! It’s June 2025

June came with a lot of heat, both from the weather and from our exciting client updates, ranging from launch events to heartfelt campaigns and you can find out all about it in this month’s Ding Dong!
Let’s take a deep dive into this month’s happenings.
Starting off on a high with our newest client, iungoworks launched their new state-of-the-art, flexible coworking space in the heart of Cardiff Bay’s commercial district. They celebrated in style with a summer soiree on the 19th of June, which our very own Rosie attended. Turns out iungoworks is not just a good looking space, it’s buzzing with the innovation and collaboration you need, as featured in News from Wales.
If you didn’t know already, we’re closer to Christmas than we are to the beginning of the year, and you know what that means – the lights in Bute Park are warming up! Christmas at Bute Park 2025 went live, and nearly 8,000 people are as excited as we are – having already secured their tickets for the festive event. We know you don’t want to be left behind, so here’s an early Christmas present, if you will: use the code BUTE20 to get 20% off before the end of July. It’s on Cardiff and Nation.Cymru are just as excited as we are!
In other news, it has been a fantastic month of visibility for Mrs Buckét and its CEO, Rachael Flanagan, who featured on ITV Wales at six as well as BBC Radio Wales Breakfast. Rachael returned to her former school, where she spoke to students about her entrepreneurial journey – a particularly special visit, as Mrs Buckét now holds the contract to clean the school. Following this, on the 23rd of June, the company’s 24-hour clean-up initiative launched. The campaign invites the public to nominate local spaces in need of some TLC as a way for Mrs Buckét to give back to the communities in which the business operates. The clean-up itself will take place in September and we can’t wait to see the results.

We also bagged some great local coverage for The Bear’s head in the Penarth Times, featuring their wholesome initiative to gift a loyal customer of over a quarter-century plants and shrubs from the pub’s display.
With Father’s Day and Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month just past, bereavement charity 2Wish launched a powerful campaign aimed at opening up the conversation surrounding men’s grief. The Mirror ran an exclusive interview with Dad, Jamie, who sought support from 2Wish after the untimely loss of his son last November. The campaign also featured nine emotional stories from men who have experienced the devastating loss of a child or partner. All connected by courage, grief and the will to change how it’s spoken about.
We were pleased to support Acro in announcing its latest success – the signing of its contract with FlySafair for its series 9 seats. The news was received well by a number of key aviation and trade publications, with coverage secured in Runway Girl, Aviation News, Aircraft Interiors International, and more.
Front Door’s Rubie headed over to the Vale resort with Go.Compare and the WRU as they invited under-14 and under-16 Valkyries girls teams to a special masterclass led by Welsh Internationals Kayleigh Powell, Sisilia Tuipulotu, and Alex Callender.

And finally, we helped spread the news that Wales’ largest training provider, ACT, has established an exciting partnership with Cardiff-based Virtus Tech to develop immersive, scenario-based virtual environments. These cutting-edge simulations help learners practise practical skills and navigate real world challenges in a controlled setting, preparing them for life beyond the classroom.
The first scenario focuses on a purpose-built, in-house salon which is now being used daily by JGW+ learners, tutors and apprentices for hands-on workshops. This collaboration has attracted coverage from Business News Wales, Tech Users, News from Wales and Cardiff News Desk.

That’s a wrap on the June Ding Dong here at Front Door, but keep your inbox clear because we’ll be back with more updates soon.
