Ding Dong! May 2025

May oh my! What a busy month it’s been for the Front Door team. So what’s been happening for us and our lovely clients?
Kicking off with some great PR results, our ‘most ridiculous things found while moving home’ campaign for Compare My Move racked up 164 pieces of coverage – including The Independent, Yahoo News, London Standard, Red FM Radio, Manchester Evening News, The Daily Mail, Daily Express and lots of lovely regionals.

Elsewhere, insurance experts Acquis shared the news that Allica Bank has become the 38th company to join their Lumia platform – and this was picked up by MSN News, Leasing Life and Yahoo Finance.
We also secured some lovely coverage for Green Man, who were celebrating the end of their ‘Green Man Rising’ competition and the crowning of this year’s winner. WING! came out victorious and will have the honour of opening the iconic Mountain Stage on the Friday as reported by Wales 24/7 and Its on Cardiff.
Looking ahead to Father’s Day, we put out a campaign for MyVoucherCodes on what dads really want – and it’s not beer or socks! The survey found that dads actually most want to be gifted a day out. This featured in The Independent, the Standard, and Yahoo Finance among others.
We do love getting out of the office – and Lisa had a great time this month attending a finfluencer (financial influencer) event in London. The event’s panel was hosted by Simran Aniekar, Digital Account Director at Stand. It explored the rise of financial influencers and their impact on consumer trust, education, and the financial services industry.

And finally, May also saw the 10-year anniversary of the partnership between SD Team and Beicio Cymru, the National Governing Body for cycling in Wales. Over the past 10 years, SD has contributed by providing Welsh riders with resources and support to help them compete on a national and international level.

That’s it for now – but who knows what June will bring? Maybe you’ll just have to wait and see!
Before you go… did you say you missed April’s Ding Dong? Don’t fret, you can find that here.

Finfluencers are here to stay

The Christmas season has come to an end, and as we say goodbye to festive films, Baileys by the pint and a casual chocolate orange before 8am, we welcome in a new year and a chance to start afresh with (not so) clear heads. While new year’s resolutions usually call to mind hot yoga and … Continued
